Character age- Timeless, being a figment one can hardly tell, he may be as old as Dreamland itself.

Character history-

The son of the Sun and the Nephew of Dawn, Flip the clown is a spirit dwelling in Slumberland. And spirit is the most appropriate term for him. Since he was old enough to cause trouble he's been at it being a general nuisance to the public and stuffy upper class.

He first met Nemo on the boys first journey to Slumberland. He found the boy of great interest and was all too happy to lead him racing through the secret passages of the castle. They became separated at some point leading Nemo to meet the King of Slumberland. A fateful encounter to be sure. Flip watched from afar as Nemo was led about first to meet the Princess and then to his schooling where he was forcefully taught to be a prince.

Flip "rescued" Nemo from the schooling encouraging him to come along and get into mischief and trouble with the encouraging clown. Between the two of them and Flip's giant grow Flap they managed to cause some havoc in town and escape to the deep basement chambers beneath the castle where they found "The Forbidden door". Naturally Flip encouraged Nemo to use a key he'd gotten from the king to take a peek inside. Beyond the door was the entrance to Nightmare land where the King's enemy slumbered. The door having been opened the Nightmare king lunged for freedom and the duo only barely managed to close the door and run away.

Tragedy struck at Nemo's coronation ceremony when the Nightmare King attacked and kidnapped the king. Nemo was sent home when he woke up while Flip...was arrested and sentenced to being banished. The citizens of Dreamland stuffed him in a canon ball and were about to fire him into space. Nemo rescues him and Flip agrees to lead Nemo, the Professor and the Princess into Nightmareland to save the king. It seems Flip is the only one with a map of NightmareLand and it's written in his own secret code...naturally.

The team became shipwrecked in Nightmareland and Flip discovered his map had become impossible to read because of water damage. Never the less he led them deeper and deeper into the dangerous territory sneaking away at one point to redraw the map. He met a group of Goblins who agreed to escort the team the rest of the way...but sadly Flip, The Professor and The Princess were captured.

Nemo managed to successfully rescue them and as he was sent back to his own world to wake up for the last time Flip bid him goodbye from the back of Flap with a giant cigar shaped like the Kings scepter.


Character personality-

Flip is a rouge in ever since of the word. Selfish and self centered his world doesn't extend much farther then himself and the people he cares about. Mind you that list is extremely short. Nemo is the first person to make that list in a very long time.

He loves a good game, party, loud noise or even just every day chaos. He's been known to spoil other peoples fun just to give himself a laugh, and is not above tormenting people bigger and stronger then him so long as he believes he can escape.

Even in the worst of times he can be difficult to shake. Give him a cigar and he's even more confident and annoying. He has no intention of being a big hero to anyone and is more likely to run away when a battle starts to get dangerous then risk his life for someone else.

Digimon personality- Flap is Flips much abused crow partner. Clumsy and a little slow she's loyal to Flip and enjoys nothing more then relaxing in the sun or going for a nice long fly with him.

She's an older bird, middle aged if we were to put it in human terms, and she's been with Flip for so long it's difficult to remember exactly when and how they met. Like most things in Dreamland it's always easier to live in the moment then think too much about where things began.

Unlike Flip Flap has a pinch more nobility and good nature about her and is loath to see people suffering...but that doesn't mean she can't appreciate a good prank or joke. She's always happy to play along with Flip's chaos so long as no one is getting seriously hurt.

Character abilities-

Flip is surprisingly agile and quick for his size and shape. His round form just adds to his bouncy rubber acrobatics.

Also as a Dream Flip is granted the ability to walk in the dreams of others. His influence in peoples dreams is only minor, usually only pertaining to himself...but he has one curious skill and that is to help wake people up from inside their dreams. It doesn't always work depending on the nature of the dream, dreamer or to be more specific if the mun doesn't want it to work...but it can come in handy particularly during a nightmare.

Sample RP-

"Come on Flap ole girl shake a tail feather!" Flip called scampering around a corner with a manic grin on his face.

"Oh no..." Flap moaned and spun around scrambling to a awkward run, flapping her wings to try and keep balance as her stubby talons propelled her along, "Fliiip what did you do now?"

A group of people came thundering around the corner to answer that question, most of them digimon patrons but one a very furious looking Burgermon cook waving a cleaver.

"I just added a little more zest to their meal!" Flip cackled as he caught up to Flap with ease and scooped her up holding her above his head. In reality he had added a bit too much cooking oil to a habachi grill leading to an explosion that singed the cook and ruined the meal. The customers and cook were none too happy about the flashy prank.

"Prepare for contact!" Flip called and Flap looked nervous, "F-flip I don't know if I can in this body yet..." She protested but Flip was beyond listening.

"CONTACT!" He called and hurled her in front of him like a javelin. Flap sqwacked in a panic and flapped her wings wildly trying to gain as much altitude as possible before...

Flip sprang and wrapped his gloved fingers around her legs dragging her from the sky. "Too heavy!!!" She yelped as they came crashing to the street.

"Time for plan B then." Flip moaned bouncing to his feet and rubbing his head.

"What's plan B?" Flap whimpered raising to her talons again and daring to glance back at the mob chasing them.

"RUN AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!" Flip called already scrambling away faster then she could run or fly.

"FLIP!!!" She cried giving chase only to be overrun by the mob...and passed over completely.

She stood for a moment blinking in confusion as it dawned on her.

"Oh...they don't know we're partners." She sighed and took flight. She'd probably have to help him get away somehow.

Is it on? Hello hello? Can anybody here me?

I can hear you just fine.

Whoa! Hey there um...pardon me Miss. Would you happen to know where I am?

Sorry Flip I'm lost too. I could take a quick fly around to see where we are.

That'd be great...hey wait how'd you know my name?

What are you talking about Flip I've known you for...years...hey wait since when can you understand me?

...Flap?

Yes?

You look...smaller.

Really? I thought I was putting on a little weight actually I...ACK! What happened to me? What...WHAT IS THIS?
